Natalie Schumacher graduated from Auckland University in 2001. After spending three years living in France and England she returned to Auckland to sit her bar exam. Natalie achieved the top student award in her intake and was admitted as a Barrister & Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2004.

Outside of the office, Ashleigh enjoys reading a book at the beach, spending time with friends, and trying new and interesting places to eat.
Taylor Hill graduated from the University of Auckland in 2025 with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in September 2025.

Taylor began her legal career at Schumacher Law shortly thereafter.
Throughout university, Taylor worked primarily as a nanny for a number of families. This experience sparked her passion for working with and supporting families, and in particular for advocating for the best interests of children. During her studies, Taylor was a proud member of the Women in Law Society and volunteered for a year with YouthLaw Aotearoa, providing support to young people navigating legal issues.
Taylor is a member of the New Zealand Law Society, the Family Law Section and the Auckland Women’s Lawyer’s Association.
Outside of the office, Taylor enjoys playing social netball, hiking, baking cakes, reading, and spending time with her friends, whānau and dogs.
